This cozy little patio by the woods is built out of bluestone pattern stock. Behind is a sitting wall made out of Pennsylvania field stone.

Cambridge interlocking wall

This is a retaining wall using a Cambridge interlocking wall system. This wall added an additional twenty five feet of level backyard to what was a very small backyard.

Timber retaining wall

Here you can see the deadman that anchor this wall. They are the timbers that attach the wall with another timber running parallel with the wall.
